In November of 2006, our largest team to date traveled to several areas in the remote mountainous area of Jamaica. They were able to minister medical care, first aid classes and prayer to over five hundred and fifty patients.
Before leaving the States, all sixteen of those that traveled to Jamaica, came to the Foundation headquarters’ and witnessed first hand the abundance of medications and supplies donated from various organizations, hospitals and local physicians. The first round of donations seemed sparse, but within a month they multiplied several times over.
The greatest blessing was when the team was able to minister to a paraplegic man. Another special case was a small child that suffered from wounds on his legs and feet that were not healing well. The physicians were able to treat the affected areas and dressed his wounds.
In addition to the visible wounds, many Jamaicans presented emotional stress, gastrointestinal problems and high blood pressure.
